Redgum Hosting was originally developed as part of the Mediart Solutions website design service. My name is Brenden Worley. Many years ago we found that it was very hard to find a hosting service that could deliver a reliable and personal service that we would expect for our design clients. After much research we found that it would be more effective to create our own hosting system. This began as a small linux server that was co-located with an ISPs servers. It allowed us to have a semi reliable data connection whilst being able to maintain the server environment as it should be. We began with only about 30 commercial domains. As our client base grew we were able to move the server to a small data centre in Melbourne.
